Saint-Gobain, par l’intermédiaire de sa filiale de produits de construction CertainTeed Canada Inc., a annoncé aujourd’hui son intention d’investir 91 millions de dollars canadiens, dont 40 millions en aide financière provenant du programme ÉcoPerformance du gouvernement du Québec, pour moderniser les équipements de son usine de fabrication de panneaux muraux située près de Montréal et réduire ses émissions de carbone jusqu’à 44 000 tonnes métriques/an, créant ainsi la première usine de cloisons sèches zéro-carbone en Amérique du Nord.
