The IT Manager reports to the Operations Director and leads end to end IT services for the Saint-Gobain North America (SGNA) Innovation Hub and associated R&D sites. The role ensures reliable, secure, and compliant IT operations across a complex lab environment, combining hands-on technical oversight with team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
 
Core Responsibilities:
·    Manage infrastructure and network operations
·    Lead cybersecurity, compliance, and audit readiness activities
·    Enable R&D operations through lab systems and instrument connectivity
·    Oversee service delivery, including service desk and team leadership (2 direct reports)
·    Ensure data protection through backup, recovery, and archiving
·    Support physical security systems and AV technologies
·    Partner with stakeholders to execute IT strategy and digital roadmap
·    Manage budget and support multiple R&D locations
 
This role is on site, hands on and may require occasional on call or off hours.

Education Requirements:
·    Bachelor's Degree with 15 years of experience or Master's Degree with 10 years of experience in an IT Technologies or IT related field of study.
Required Work Experience:
Diverse IT Management experience working in an environment with rigorous IT security (preferably in a lab or R&D environment) is required. In addition, a proven track record of accomplishments with progressive management responsibilities and at least 3 years as an IT Team Manager is necessary for this role.
Required Knowledge and Skills to Ensure Success Include:
·    Advanced expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure and networking, including Windows environments, Active Directory, and LAN/WAN fundamentals
·    Strong cybersecurity knowledge, including security architecture, firewalls, DMZ, segmentation, and compliance controls
·    Leadership skills with ability to influence without authority, coach teams, deliver results, and operate effectively in ambiguity
·    Drive for results and solid problem-solving and project management skills, including prioritization, decision-making, and translating business needs into IT solutions
·    Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and tailor messaging effectively
·    Experience supporting physical security, AV systems, and diverse technical environments, including R&D/lab systems (preferred)

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $127,650 to $203,550. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Quality Inspector

Saint-Gobain located in Orange, CT is looking for a Quality Inspector.

  • The pay rate for this position which is $21.00 to $24.00 an hour

Our Quality Inspectors compare measurements, form, fit, function, and value judgments of simple and complex parts to blueprint specifications and general workmanship standards using documents, experience, and knowledge of inspection techniques of Saint-Gobain. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring Good Documentation Practices are utilized throughout all quality records that are reviewed/completed/inspected/audited.

  • Inspect manufactured product for dimensional consistency, workmanship and finish.
  • Maintains the flow of product through inspection in a timely manner meeting due dates for outside processes and customer deliveries.
  • Inspects incoming materials for conformance to requirements, reviews certifications for conformance, issues DMR or NCMR in our ERP system if needed.
  • Performs In-process inspection.
  • Reviews certification packages for product and releases for shipment in ERP system.
  • Files electronic data on server and maintains accurate and orderly certification files in QA.
  • Assists the lead Inspector and department manager as needed.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION/PURPOSE
 
Safety is of primary importance to this and all positions. To assist in the safe operating and packaging of the millwork production line. Maintain well organized and clean workstation and update required documentation to ensure a quality product. Dependability is an essential part of the job as well as the ability to work with co-workers.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Adhere to all plant/OSHA guidelines and safety rules.
  • Adhere to all JSA's pertaining to the extrusion line.
  • Perform safety inspections and report all unsafe conditions or Near Miss events immediately.
  • Wear all PPE as required.
  • Follow all environmental and housekeeping requirements, properly dispose of trash, regularly sweep, keeping material, oil and water off floors.
  • Ensure line and workstation are clean prior to end of work shift.
  • Package product per specification  - proper palletization of product, correctly coded and properly placed labels, insert slip sheets, band product to pallet.
  • Assist in the operation of the production line, learning all required points as noted on the Training Outline for a B Operator.
  • Perform all quality checks, report all defects and ensure that product meets all dimensional and cosmetic standards, and properly document.

Job Summary:
 
Operate injection molding machines to produce products which conform to part print. Assure products meet all quality specifications and are made according to the latest procedures and standards.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 
-Set Up molds and machines to manufacture parts according to specifications using approved set up sheets to cycle machines
 
-Weigh materials and other specified ingredients per specifications/instructions and Load blended materials in hopper on molding machines as needed
 
-Operate Process Injection molding machines to produce specified product according to customer specifications and ensuring Quality of the parts.
 
-Inspect Parts for defects and make necessary corrections to troubleshoot them out of the process. Escalate when help is needed
 
-Measure Parts according to print guidelines using calipers, rulers, and other measuring devices.
 
-Meet Productivity standards on a consistent basis. Escalate issues to management that will affect productivity.
 
-Purge machines during the changeover process to ensure the machine is ready for the next cycle.

Material Handler

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Material Handler is responsible for maintaining inventory and facilitating shipping needs for all products and materials to include issuing materials to manufacturing (kitting components) for orders to be completed prior to shipping; for our manufacturing facilities in Clearwater and Largo Florida for Saint-Gobain Life Sciences.
 
Essential Functions:

  • Store materials using assigned protocols with correct equipment.

  • QA forms via electronic document storage, etc.
  • Schedule trucks for delivery and pick up of product as required for on-time expediting.
  • Be proactive in assuring all shipments are shipped on time & resolving issues.
  • Load and/or unload trucks. Subject to driving company vehicle(s) as required.
  • Research and audit inventory by conducting daily cycle counts.

Training Supervisor

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Training Supervisor

The Training Supervisor will be responsible for managing the training department and focusing on reducing losses related to human errors. Objectives include using WCM methodologies to implement training and operating initiatives for the production operations at the Nashville plant. In this role, the Supervisor will lead a team of 2–5 people to research deliverables, develop content, deliver training, and evaluate training effectiveness for new and existing employees. The Training Supervisor will step in as necessary to support the team.

This team will produce training content and methods focused on improving performance, efficiency, productivity, safety, and engagement, while also improving advancement opportunities for employees. The Training Supervisor will collaborate with the HR Manager and CI Manager to update and complete actions supporting the People Development Pillar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track human error-related losses; assist and train supervisors for HFA.
  • Use lessons learned from HFA to update and develop training materials that reduce human error-related losses.
  • Assist with identifying areas in employees' skills that require improvement through gap analysis, 3x3x3 job matrices, and PD for EEM.
  • Organize training sessions specific to various roles across multiple plant departments.
  • Ensure new staff members receive appropriate introductory/orientation onboarding and training with a strong emphasis on WCM methodology.
  • Oversee preparation of instructional materials in accordance with EEM Step 5.
  • Occasionally fill in for supervisors on shift to assist with vacation coverage and gain firsthand knowledge of the effectiveness of training being provided, while assessing additional training needs and gaps on each shift.
  • Coordinate with the CI Manager to plan and conduct annual WCM refresher courses for all staff members.
  • Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, tracking, record keeping, and maintaining training materials.
  • Work cross-functionally to assist in maintaining the site’s training records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with evaluating training effectiveness and provide input on the selection of appropriate course content.
  • Deliver training, as needed, in various settings including individual, group, on-the-job, virtual, and recorded formats.
  • Assist with training-related reporting for hourly employees.
