As a Manufacturing Associate, you will play a crucial role in the production process, operating various packaging machines to create finished products. Your responsibilities will span from preparing packaging materials to conducting visual inspections, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality. Additionally, you'll play a key role in supporting your team during product changeovers.

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $20.78 $26.08 per hour. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is up to 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures.

Dry End Operator Trainee

POSITION SUMMARY: The incumbent is responsible for operating and maintaining wrapper and winder machinery as well as other equipment. PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work an average of 40 hours per week, speak clearly so others understand, vision acuity to see details within a few feet of an observer, accepting of criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations, sensitivity to other’s needs, positive demeanor, and model change management for the business. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Manufacturing plant is not temperature controlled; dust, fumes, and high noise areas are present inside plant areas. Manufacturing processes involve fiberglass, glycerin, latex and formaldehyde. Noise levels exceed 80 dB in some areas of the site. Moving equipment such as fork lifts, buggies, genie booms and industrial sweepers travel throughout the facility, sometimes in congested areas. Maintenance Mechanic

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

This Manufacturing Facility operates 24/7. Successful candidates must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The standard schedule rotates every four (4) weeks between day shift (7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.) and night shift (7:30 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) on a year-round basis. Maintenance Technicians may also be assigned to a fixed day shift when required, as schedules are subject to change based on business needs.

Maintenance Mechanics support the site activities related to equipment reliability, maintenance, and safety. Mechanics will troubleshoot machine breakdowns and make repairs safely to restore the machine to the proper operating condition. Mechanics must adhere to all company safety policies and JSAs while performing tasks and at all times on the premises.

Essential Functions:
Troubleshoots and repairs down or malfunctioning facilities and production equipment. Repairs or fabricates equipment.
Installing, modifying, adjusting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repair of all mobile & plant equipment.
Repair and troubleshoot all rotating and stationary equipment, such as motors and gearboxes.
Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems.
Follow standard operating procedures-PM schedules, maintenance work orders.
Disassemble production machinery and plant equipment to locate defective parts. Remove and replace defective parts such as bushings, bearings, shafts, gears and motors.
Recognize conditions that could lead to equipment breakdowns.
Monitor critical pieces of equipment, to detect and resolve issues utilizing WCM tools.
Maintain good housekeeping of maintenance area and production areas where maintenance work has taken place.
Able to work within the Safe Work Process and Permitting procedures in CertainTeed,LLC.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Details:

Logistics and Raw Material Supervisor

The Role
The Logistics & Raw Material Supervisor is responsible for all raw materials, warehouse, shipping, logistics, and inventory management functions to include but not limited to, labor scheduling, storing, shipping, space management/cycle counting and housekeeping. Supervise logistics and raw material personnel to attain high degree of safety and efficiency. The Logistics and Raw Materials Supervisor will be responsible for managing the forklift fleet, plant wide. This position reports directly to the Logistics and Raw Materials Manager.
 
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily operations at Ennis, TX plant and must be able to travel to offsite warehouses, as necessary
  • Manage raw material ordering and replenishment to maintain production schedules, including specialty materials (e.g., colored granules, headlap, copper) as required
  • Develop, administer, and submit periodic raw-material forecasts (e.g., glass mat, asphalt, coating, polymer, granules, headlap) to corporate purchasing/supply chain and communicate changes as needed
  • Maintain accurate raw material and finished goods inventory through cycle counts, physical inventories, audit support, and timely communication of results and corrective actions

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Plant Maintenance Electrician is responsible for maintaining and improving plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems across production and facility equipment. This role supports automation and control systems, including basic PLC programming and AC/DC motor drives, and is expected to work safely and independently while partnering with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and EHS to keep equipment reliable and compliant.
Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic malfunctions; safely analyze machinery breakdowns and restore equipment to production readiness.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair electrical controls (with or without prints); inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain electrical/mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Support automation and control systems, including basic PLC programming and programming of AC/DC motor drives.
• Install and wire new equipment: build out panels, mount panels per specification, run/install wiring, complete terminations, test functionality, and perform work in a neat, workmanlike manner.
• Disassemble, adjust, repair, and reassemble machine tool components (including hydraulics, clutches, brakes, turrets, and related assemblies); design/fabricate parts and perform equipment modifications.
• Interpret, update, and maintain blueprints, schematics, machine manuals, and drawings; design, update, and modify electrical systems (up to 600V).
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM), periodic inspections, recalibration of electrical components, and maintenance data collection to support reliability and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Parts & Inventory and Purchasing to maintain an appropriate supply of spare parts and maintenance supplies; create purchase requisitions and maintain required stock items.
• Complete daily maintenance work logs and associated documentation/records.
• Support EHS and ISO programs: follow safety procedures (including lockout/tagout), comply with corporate/governmental requirements, participate in audits (e.g., 5S/SMATs), and address plant safety issues as identified.
• Work with vendors and outside contractors as needed, including coordinating access to high-voltage equipment during shutdowns.
• Support new product and new process transfers in partnership with R&D and other stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned and work any shift/occasional overtime as required.

Responsibilities
·    Perform preventative maintenance (PM) including routine inspections, lubrication/greasing/oiling, and servicing gearboxes and reservoirs; maintain PM records.
·    Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of manufacturing equipment and systems (motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, air and water lines, valves, PLCs, etc.).
·    Diagnose equipment issues impacting product quality and coordinate with operators to identify and resolve machine problems.
·    Repair or fabricate parts as needed; tear down and rebuild worn components.
·    Perform welding and fabrication (gas/arc) to repair or create parts and supports as required.
·    Complete pipefitting work including running air/water lines, low-pressure pipe welding, rebuilding hydraulic cylinders/pumps/valves, setting up regulator systems, pressure testing, and building hydraulic hoses/lines.
·    Support facility maintenance and general building work, including carpentry, interior/exterior painting, and remodeling/building offices as needed.
·    Document maintenance activities and maintain equipment/machine history records.
·    Monitor tools, spare parts, and supplies; request replenishment as needed.
·    Coordinate maintenance activities with production supervisors and engineers to align with production schedules.
·    Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
·    Maintain a clean and safe work environment; follow OSHA and company safety standards, including lockout/tagout and 5S expectations; respond to and repair malfunctioning safety devices.

  • Accurately document and track all work completed through a CMMS system (SAP).
  • Development of detailed standard maintenance interval procedures for each of the mobile equipment units as per OEM guidelines. Creating a robust preventive maintenance program.

  • Occasionally performs work in other trades and provides plant maintenance support.
