Homes For Heroes Foundation is proud to announce a generous $25,000 donation from Saint-Gobain Canada in partnership with the Saint-Gobain North America Foundation’s direct grant program. The grant will advance Homes for Heroes’ national mission of providing housing stability and wraparound support for Veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness. This meaningful contribution will directly assist the building of the next villages in London, ON and Winnipeg, MB and the advancement of sustainable housing solutions and critical programming that empowers Veterans to rebuild their lives.
“At Saint-Gobain, we strive every day to find ways of Making the World a Better Home, and this guiding purpose not only transpires in the sustainable innovations we make, but also in how we act to better the communities where we operate and live,” shares Jenny Boudreau, Vice-President, Supply Chain, Saint-Gobain Canada. “As a Canadian Forces Veteran, I am extremely proud that we get to support Homes For Heroes’ critical mission through our Saint-Gobain North America Foundation to provide the people who served this country with decent housing and the support they truly deserve.”
Through its unique village model and comprehensive support services, Homes For Heroes Foundation creates dignified communities where Veterans can heal, regain independence, and achieve long-term stability. Funding from the Saint-Gobain North America Foundation will help strengthen housing initiatives, essential services, and programming that address the root causes of homelessness, including financial insecurity, mental health challenges, and barriers to employment.
“We are sincerely grateful to Saint-Gobain for their generous $25,000 contribution,” says Brad Field, President & CEO, Homes For Heroes Foundation. “Corporate partners like Saint-Gobain play a vital role in helping us expand our impact and ensure that Veterans have access to safe housing and the supports they need to thrive. This investment is more than a donation, it is a commitment to restoring stability, dignity, and opportunity for those who have served our country.”
Homes For Heroes Foundation remains committed to serving those who have served by developing innovative and transitional supportive housing, while delivering integrated supports across Canada. Partnerships like this demonstrate the power of collaboration in addressing Veteran homelessness and building stronger, more resilient communities.
