Our Albion, NY Plant at Saint-Gobain ADFORS is looking for a Maintenance Lead, Manufacturing/Industrial to join our team!

Hours: Swing Shift 36/48 hour work weeks, 5:00am-5:00pm/5:00pm-5:00am

$34.00/hr plus Shift diff: Nights: M-Th - $.55/hr, Fri-Sun Days/Nights - $1.20/hr

The Maintenance Lead (Lead Hand) is responsible for performing all duties associated with a skilled Maintenance Technician while providing day-to-day leadership, coordination, and direction to the maintenance team. This position serves as the primary point of contact for maintenance activities during assigned shifts and helps ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with production and plant objectives.

The Maintenance Lead coordinates daily work assignments, supports troubleshooting and repair activities, promotes safe work practices, ensures accurate maintenance documentation within the CMMS (Mobility Work), and facilitates effective communication between shifts, departments, and leadership. The role is intended to be a working lead position, actively participating in maintenance tasks while providing guidance, direction, and support to the maintenance team.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a maintenance and work-related experience in machine maintenance for a manufacturing environment.

This position is concerned with a variety of areas in our Manufacturing facility. Must be able to work unsupervised, efficiently, and safely. Ability to learn, and perform all duties required of the position. Demonstrated ability of cooperation, leadership, and willingness to assist fellow employees in a team-based work environment.
It is a night shift position.


The incumbent works closely with the Supervisor and production team members. Analytical and problem solving skills, mechanical aptitude and effective communication skills are a necessity. Computer experience with the use of Microsoft Office, basic math, and weight conversions required.

Must be detail oriented to accurately record material and inventory related data. Practical experience with measuring tools, and hand tools including but not limited to: hammer, pry bar, utility knife, scissors, etc. is required.

Define the problems of any machine and material issues and to respond in an efficient and timely manner to production needs and requirements.

Provided is the pay rate for this position which is $34.00 per hour plus shift differential : Nights: M-Th - $.55/h,Fri-Sun Days/Nights - $1.20/hr.

In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Additional Pay Incentives for This Role Include: 
·    Standard Overtime (Hourly Rate * 1.5)
