*The ideal candidate will sit out of our Malvern, PA headquarters, but we are open to the role being remote**
In this role, you will lead and drive the development, implementation, and oversight of the curriculum and process training that our field sales professionals require. This includes equipping our sales team with basic product knowledge of Interior Products Group (IPG) products, acceptable field technical knowledge, technological fluency, project tracking & jobsite readiness, contractor/installer interaction, and to ensure training aligns with commercial strategy and field priorities. This role would include providing foundational knowledge for gypsum code assemblies, ceilings assemblies, and insulation requirements. An important part of this role will be to assist in the onboarding of new sales professionals with a defined timeline for hands-on experience, classroom participation, and customer-facing engagement.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
What do you bring?
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science;
- Business, Marketing or related field Required.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in commercial construction, building materials, technical sales, or field training required
- 3 to 5 years of experience in sales training, technical education or field enablement roles preferred
- OSHA Safety Training required or willingness to complete within 6 months of hire
- Industry certifications (UL, ICC, ASTM, LEED, etc. preferred or willingness to complete within 12 months of hire
- Deep understanding of commercial wall and ceiling systems, fire rated assemblies, acoustics and code required
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and adult learning skills required
Experience with e-learning and training platforms required
