Saint-Gobain Proppants Opens New Manufacturing Facility

Kiln lit at new ceramic proppants facility in Saline County, Arkansas – the largest single-line proppants production plant in the world.

Saint-Gobain Proppants is pleased to announce the lighting of the kiln at its new ceramic proppants production facility in Saline County, Arkansas. The new, 100,000-square-foot facility is the largest single-line proppants production plant in the world and provides Saint-Gobain with an additional annual capacity of 330 million pounds of proppants in North America, positioning the company to meet the growing demand for ceramic proppants in the hydraulic fracturing industry. The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility utilizes product and manufacturing technologies designed to reduce the plant's environmental footprint.
