Saint-Gobain Earns 90 out of 100 Score in Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2022 Corporate Equality Index

Saint-Gobain, one of the world’s largest building materials companies and a manufacturer of innovative material solutions, has received a score of 90 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2022 Corporate Equality Index. The Corporate Equality Index is the world’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality.

The score was awarded to Saint-Gobain only months after the company launched its global Grow and Impact strategy. One of the strategy’s priorities is to build a diverse and inclusive workplace.

“At Saint-Gobain, we know the best teams are diverse and inclusive, made up of individuals who bring their different experiences and points of view together towards solving challenges and innovating solutions,” said Magda Dexter, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Communications at Saint-Gobain North America. “As our company continues to expand our team in the United States and Canada, we will keep prioritizing building a workplace where all of our colleagues are encouraged to be their authentic selves. We strive to create an environment where all of our teammates feel safe, supported, and welcome.”

Saint-Gobain is honored to advocate for a workplace that encourages colleagues to come together with common interests, viewpoints, and experiences. The company is home to several Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), including its LGBTQ Network – Live Open, Leading Efforts for Ancestral Diversity Network – LEAD, Women’s Network, Early Career Network, and Veterans Network.
