WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Responsible for pulling and putting up materials from the racks, sorting the work orders by production scheduler and due date while performing all SAP functions as necessary to ensure the accuracy, proper documentation and timely processing while using a lift, when necessary, in a consistent manner to meet demand.

Essential Functions

  1. Sort orders by due date, production scheduler, and pull materials in a timely fashion.
  2. Put up and pull inventory from racks completing SAP movements.
  3. Responsible for safety in the area.
  4. Operate lift equipment in a safe manner.
  5. Assist in maintaining good housekeeping in the department.
  6. Develop, maintain, and complete any repots as required by supervision.
  7. Acts on specific assignments and projects as directed by supervision.
  8. Actively uses continuous improvements to reduce waste in all aspects.
  9. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and 80 pounds on a non-repetitive basis.
  10. Ability to operate multiple lifts while meeting or exceeding service expectations.
  11. This role involves tasks that require the use of a safety harness with specific weight limits.  For safety purposes, employees for this position must weigh less than 310 pounds to meet the manufacturer’s guidelines for harness use and ensure proper equipment functionality to be ANSI and OSHA Compliant. 
  12. All other duties as assigned.

TO MAKE SURE NOTHING IS FORGOTTEN

  1. Highschool diploma/Ged preferred.
  2. Must have driver license.
  3. Must work well under pressure and be self-motivated and well organized.
  4. Possess communication skills.
  5. Ability to work in team environment.
  6. Must be able to work with all levels of organization.
  7. Ability to work 40 hours during a defined shift, plus overtime as required.
  8. Have basic computer skills.
