WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

This role owns the design, governance, and continuous improvement of the electronic document control system for all products and processes within the Siding Products Group. It ensures documentation is standardized, controlled, and maintained across the full lifecycle (creation, approval, revision, and retirement), enabling consistent quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
The position serves as the central resource for document traceability, historical records, and change tracking, ensuring accurate and audit-ready documentation. In addition to system administration and user support, this role plays a key part in modernizing document control by supporting the evaluation, design, and implementation of an enhanced digital document management system in partnership with IT and cross-functional teams.
Essential Functions:
  • Documentation Management :Own and maintain controlled documentation for a diverse product portfolio, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
    • Manage and update:
      • Raw Material Specifications (liaison with suppliers)
      • Formulation / Material System Specifications
      • Material & Finished Product Evaluation Procedures
      • Finished & Purchased Product Specifications and Packaging (liaison with suppliers)
      • Packaging Procedures and Procurement Specifications
      • Special Order Product Documentation
    • Partner with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve discrepancies and drive standardization
  • Records Management & Traceability: Ensure documentation history is accurate, traceable, and accessible.
    • Retrieve and provide historical records (electronic and hard copy) to support business needs
    • Maintain tracking systems for document changes (who, what, when, why)
    • Support Consumer Services and other functions with documentation for customer claims and investigations
  • New Product & Process Support: Enable efficient documentation for product launches and process changes.
    • Design and create documentation for new products and processes
    • Establish logical folder structures within the document management system
    • Coordinate document readiness and release timing with product launches
  • Electronic Document Management System (EDMS/livelink) Administration: Administer and enhance the electronic document system (e.g., Livelink or successor platform).
    • Manage user access, onboarding, and offboarding
    • Deliver user training and ongoing support
    • Create and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and compliance
    • Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support
    • Lead or support the evaluation, design, and implementation of an improved digital document control system, partnering with IT and cross-functional stakeholders
    • Drive continuous improvement in usability, automation, and data integrity
  • ISO & Compliance Support: Maintain documentation in alignment with ISO and corporate quality standards.
    • Manage ISO Quality Policy Manual and Level 2 procedures
    • Support site and corporate documentation controllers
    • Develop and revise workflows to ensure compliance
    • Track, document, and maintain records of deviations from standard practices

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelors Degree in Technical or business degree: Required
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, ERP): Required
  • Strong project managements skills: Required
  • Preferred:
    • Lean, Six Sigma certification
    • ASQ certification
    • ISO Internal Auditor Certification
    • 2+ years of experience in a quality manufacturing environment, including document control and the use of Microsoft and web-based systems (Required)
100% remote position in the North East- CT, MA, NH, RI, VT

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $81,500 to $126,500per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10 % of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $89,650.00 $139,150.00 . Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee
